Enjoy stylish, luxury accommodation a stone's throw from the North Cornish coast, where you will find yourself amongst the comforts of a boutique hotel, yet in the privacy of your own country house abode. This hideaway has been meticulously designed to exceed your expectations - from the finest linen, soft, fluffy towels and organic handmade soap, to the under-floor heating, wood-burning stoves and fully-stocked honesty bars.

Inside

  • Style: Contemporary beach house style with luxury trimmings. Slate floors are warmed by under-floor heating and the interior is adorned with designer fabrics and local works of art.
  • Bedrooms: Three double/twin en-suites and a cabin room with two bunks, a daybed and a truckle bed in the main house(sleeping 10); one double en-suite and one double/twin, plus a family shower room in the adjoining barn, The Cow Shed (sleeping four).
  • For relaxation: Curl up by the log burner on the gargantuan sofas in the living area.
  • For recreation: There's a games room with table football, air hockey and table tennis.
  • Practicalities: Washers and dryers in both properties.

Outside

An outdoor pool (from Easter to end of September), barbecues and garden furniture for relaxing and al fresco dining. Situated in 165-acres of farmland less than a mile from the sea.

Food and Wine

  • The Mill is available on a fully-catered basis only. The smaller barn, The Cow Shed, is available on a self-catered basis.
  • DIY: Both properties boast spacious open-plan living and kitchen areas, with fully-equipped kitchens and a comprehensive range of modern cooking accessories.
  • In-house cuisine: In the larger barn, or for exclusive hire of both properties, a cook will prepare breakfast, homemade cakes for teatime and a sumptuous three-course dinner. The focus is on fresh seasonal produce (making the most of lamb and beef reared on the farm), and a selection of fine wines. Menus can be tweaked to your tastes (in advance), and there are dedicated children's menus.
  • Eating out: On the doorstep of the foodie capital of Cornwall, there is a treasure trove of local restaurants to explore, including Rick Stein's eateries and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen.
