This luxury self catering mill house brings together the best of countryside and coastal living. Once a working mill house, the North Cornish Mill House has been converted into spacious, well-equipped luxury accommodation, furnished to the highest standards. Perfectly situated for Cornwall’s surfing beaches, or for walking the south west coast path, the property is nestled in a secluded countryside location, yet less than 2 miles from the coast.

• Style: The interior boasts large character rooms with oak floors, contemporary bathrooms with slate floors and luxurious bedrooms. Quirky nautical features include wooden oars used as the stair rail, and an idyllic country cottage feel has been seamlessly fused with all mod cons.
• Bedrooms: Downstairs is a king-size double with en suite bathroom, and a wet room (big shower and WC). Upstairs is a king-size double with en suite shower room, a family bathroom, two twin rooms – one of which can accommodate 2 adults/4 children. Also located adjacent from the farmhouse is The Mowhay a self-contained contemporary studio barn sleeping 2 (in one double bedroom), which is subject to availability and an additional cost. 
• For relaxation: Make yourself at home in the huge open-plan living areas; sink into a squishy sofa in front of the wood-burner
• For recreation: So close to the beach and the countryside what more do you need?
• Practicalities: Boiler room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Parking for two cars.

Private south facing garden with a barbecue and garden furniture – a beauty of a spot to kick back and take in the countryside views. There is also an outdoor shower for you and your sandy kit when you come off the beach.

Food and wine

• DIY: The property is available on a self-catering basis. Stylish and well-equipped kitchen/dining area with oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. On request, wine can be pre-delivered by wine specialists Bin2 in Padstow.
• In-house cuisine: Home cooked freezer meals available by prior arrangement. An extensive menu from Thai Green Curry to Beef Bourguignon available.
• Eating out: A cluster of superb local restaurants includes Rick Stein’s restaurants in Padstow (01841 533466), No.6 Restaurant and Private Dining Rooms, also in Padstow (01841 532093, and Ripley’s in St Merryn (01841 520179). If you're looking for somewhere close try St Kew Inn pub which is a lovely and traditional pub in the country about 10 minutes away.
